Denmark vs France betting tips: World Cup match preview & predictions

A draw suits both teams here as it will mean that France will go through Group C as winners, whilst Denmark will progress.
Before the World Cup this always looked like the best encounter of the group and it remains so, even if France will likely rest players.

Denmark vs France: Who will win?

France are overwhelming favourites to beat Denmark with the bookies, at 5/4.
Denmark can be backed at attractive odds of 15/4. Whilst the draw that will suit both sides is rated at 17/10.
A draw at half-time and France to win is rated at an attractive looking 7/2.

Denmark vs France match preview

Denmark take on France at the Stadion Luzhniki in Moscow on Tuesday afternoon with the situation pretty clear for both sides.
The Danes need a point to stave off Australia, who will be going all out for a win over Peru, in the other Group C game at the same time.
Denmark also come into this with a better goal difference than Australia as well as their three point advantage.
Denmark saw off Peru in their opener and then bagged a point against Australia that keeps them in the driving seat to qualify as second place in Group C.
France need a point to confirm top spot in Group C and with two wins from two have, as expected, looked like one of the best sides in Russia 2018.
Les Bleus have beaten both Peru and Australia so far without ever looking like they were playing at their maximum.

Denmark vs France: The Group C decider

With the two best teams on paper in the group being left apart, the best match in Group C should provide excitement and drama.
Didier Deschamps is tipped to heavily change his side for the match against Denmark, to rest key stars and give squad players a chance.
In truth, this could work out quite badly for Denmark, thanks to the strength of the Les Bleus reserves and their desire to impress Deschamps.
Denmark are unlikely to make wholesale changes but they have struggled to score goals, even during a fantastic run during 2018.
Of course, Christian Eriksen is Denmark’s main man and if he plays well on Tuesday, then anything is possible.

Denmark vs France: All the permutations!

The winner of Group C plays runner-up in Group D – potentially Argentina or Nigeria for France.
And, the second place in Group C will face the winner of Group D, so Denmark or Australia will almost definitely square up against Croatia.
Of course, a Denmark win over France would take the Danes top and leave Les Bleus second. Leaving Australia out, and leaving Croatia to face France…

Denmark team news vs France

William Kvist has returned from injury but is unlikely to feature in Denmark’s match against France.
The Aarhus midfielder is expected to be available if Denmark progress.
Yussuf Poulsen, who scored the winner against Peru, has picked up two yellow cards in both games so far, and is suspended for this match.

France team news vs Denmark

France have no major injuries or suspensions but are expected to significantly change their side.
Didier Deschamps has been tipped by the French media to make at least six changes.
These include Steve Mandanda in place of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. And, chances to impress for the likes of Presnel Kimpembe, Thomas Lemas, Steven Nzonzi and Olivier Giroud.
